NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the TTRO17105 - A44 Mill Street, Leominster, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: A44 Mill Street at the level crossing OS Grid Ref: 350014 / 259498. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A44 Bridge Street onto Broad Street onto New Street onto Cursneh Road onto the B4361 Dishley Street onto Westbury Street onto South Street onto Hereford Road onto the U93609 Southern Avenue onto the C1105 Worcester Road onto the A49 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to engineering maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th May 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
