Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U73200 Golden Post Road, Allensmore, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U73200 Golden Post Road between the junction of the B4349 to the junction of the A465 OS Grid Ref: 347583 / 237380. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the junction connecting the B4349 to the A465 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to overhead electrical work and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th May 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
