WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (A422 Worcester Road, Grafton Flyford) (Temporary 10 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017 Order made: to impose a temporary 10 mph speed limit on that part of A422 Worcester Road, Grafton Flyford from its junction with Libbery Lane to its junction with C2077 Grafton Flyford, in order to facilitate carriageway works. Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
4 days. Commencing 8 May 2017
(A4440 Crookbarrow Way, Worcester)(Temporary
40 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to impose a temporary 40 mph
speed limit on that part of A4440 Crookbarrow Way,
Worcester from its junction with A44 Whittington
Road Roundabout to its junction with Norton Road Roundabout, in order to facilitate construction works of Southern Link Road dualling scheme.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 57 weeks. Commencing 27 May 2017
(Dormston Lane, Dormston)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of Dormston Lane, Dormston from its junction with C2053 Cockshot
Lane to its junction with A442 Alcester Road in order
to facilitate carriageway works on behalf of Barden
Network.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: A442 Alcester Road, C2053
Cockshot Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
5 days (within a 2 week period). Commencing: 9 May 2017.

(A422 Broughton Hackett to Upton Snodsbury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made: to close that part of A422 Broughton
Hackett to Upton Snodsbury from its junction with Churchill Mill Road for a distance of 700 metres in a
westerly direction in order to facilitate carriageway
pre-surfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
No alternative route available.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
2 days Commencing: 8 May 2017.
(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2016 [No Loading and Unloading on New Street, Worcester]
On 20 April 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order giving permanent effect to an Experimental Order made on 11 August 2016 the
effect of which will be to impose no loading and
unloading Monday - Sunday 7.30am - 7.00pm
(in addition to the existing prohibition of waiting
at any time) on the following length and side of road
in Worcester:
New Street (west side) from a point 25 metres north of its junction with Windsor Row for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow
parking/access for certain purposes.
The Order will come into operation on 11 May 2017.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected
at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre,
The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1
3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
