OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (OXFORD AREA-A40) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS GIVEN that on 2 May 2017 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 8 May 2017 consolidates similar existing orders for administrative purposes only; i.e. the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Area - A40) (Speed Limits) Order 2012, the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Area -A40) (Speed Limits) Order 2016 made 30.8.16, and the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Area - A40) (Speed Limits) Order 2016 made 17.10.16 which are hereby revoked. The speed limits covered are 30mph,40mph and 50mph which variously affect both carriageways of the A40 westwards from Thornhill Park & Ride to Wolvercote roundabout.
