Dorset County Council (A Footpath from Old Granary Close to Footpath 15, Weymouth at Preston) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2017
The above Order, made on 31 March 2017, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding a Footpath in the Weymouth and Portland Borough:-
From its junction with the adopted part of Old Granary Close, east of 15 Old Granary Close at SY 70198335, north along the adopted part of Old Granary Close and passing through a gap in the wall, north west of 14 Old Granary Close at SY 70198339. Continue south west and south, via stone and earth surfaced steps to SY 70188338, then west, via a slope with steps to the field boundary, north east of 15 Old Granary Close at SY 70178338. Continue west north west across the field to its junction with Footpath 15, north north west of 15 Granary Close at SY 70128340. Width: 2.8 metres at SY 70198335, narrowing to 1.5 metres between SY 70198339 and SY 70128340.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at Reception, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there for £10.00. Copies are also available on our website at www.dorsetforyou.com/row-orders.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Phil Hobson, Senior Definitive Map Officer, Dorset Highways, Environment and the Economy Directorate, Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ (Ref: RW/T475) not later than 23 June 2017, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. Any letters received will be made available for public inspection.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Dorset County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it. Dated: 11 May 2017.

Temporary Closure of High Street Fordington,
Dorchester
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along High Street Fordington, Dorchester between its junction with Kings Road and South Walks Road, a distance of approximately 130 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Tuesday 30 May 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 14 July 2017. This order will enable I & G Contractors Ltd, agents for SGN, to carry out gas service replacements to 37 properties.
A diversion route will be signed via High Street Fordington, London Road and Kings Road.
