THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COMMON ROAD, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that
length of Common Road, Chorleywood from its southernmost junction with Station Approach
north westwards for a distance of approximately 50 metres ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Station Approach and Common Road.
The Order is needed because the removal and replacement of existing mobile
telecommunication poles are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 May 2017 for a period of up to
18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated
by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") will be:-
1. To prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads, except for access:-
a) that length of Bridlington Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Fairfield Avenue south eastwards to its junction with Oxhey Drive, a distance of approximately 190 metres.
An alternative route will be via Fairfield Avenue, B4542 Prestwick Road and Oxhey Drive.
b) that length of Oxhey Drive, South Oxhey from its junction with Bridlington Road south westwards to its junction with Henbury Way, a distance of approximately 68 metres.
An alternative route will be via Oxhey Drive, B4542 Prestwick Road and Oxhey Drive.
2. To prohibit all vehicles from making a right turn manoeuvre from Hallowes Crescent into Hayling Road, South Oxhey, whilst signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via Hayling Road, B4542 (Prestwick Road/Brookdene Avenue), A4125 (Hampermill Lane/Sandy Lane) and Hayling Road.
The Order is needed because the reconstruction of an existing speed table and foul water sewer connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 May 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or
near the Roads.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE CYCLEWAY SITUATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF B4542 PRESTWICK ROAD, SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section
14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cyclists from using the
cycleway situated on the east side of B4542 Prestwick Road, South Oxhey from a point
20 metres south east of its junction with Green Lane south eastwards for a distance of
approximately 100 metres ("the Cycleway").
Pedal cyclists will be asked to dismount and use the adjacent footway.
The Order is needed because telecom maintenance works are proposed to be executed
on or near the Cycleway.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 22 May 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or
near the Cycleway.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HERKOMER ROAD, BUSHEY) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Herkomer Road, Bushey from its junction with Bournehall Lane south eastwards to its junction with Bournehall Road ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 46 metres,
except for access.
An alternative route will be via Herkomer Road, Park Road, A411 High Street and
Bournehall Road.
The Order is needed because electrical cabling works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 May 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or
near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B4542 LITTLE OXHEY LANE, SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of B4542 Little Oxhey Lane, South Oxhey from a point 50 metres south west of its junction with St Georges Drive south westwards for a distance of approximately 147 metres ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via B4542 Little Oxhey Lane, A4008 (Oxhey Lane/Pinner Road), A412 (Eastbury Road/Hampermill Lane), B4542 (Brookdene Avenue/Prestwick Road/Little Oxhey Lane).
The Order is needed because railway bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed
on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 May 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or
near the Road.
