THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) (Various roads, Wycombe District) Order, 2017, which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in various roads in [Wycombe District] as specified in the Schedule below. The closures are required whilst Surfacing and improvement works take place between [10 May 2017] and [30 June 2017]. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 May 2017 and will be in effect when signed and between times as per schedule below on the days signed, with a maximum duration of 18 months. SCHEDULE - "AR" = Alternative Route Mendy Street, High Wycombe from junction of Desborough Road. 24 hours. AR- Desborough Road, Bridge Street and Mendy Street. (3 days required). Bridge Street, High Wycombe from 20m at the south side of Bridge street and the junction with Desborough Road. 24hours. AR- Desborough Road, Westbourne Street, Oxford Road, Abbey Way, Abbey Way Gyratory, Lilys Walk and Bridge Street. (These works will be done in two different phases) Phase 1, Desborough Road, High Wycombe for approximately 50m Westbourne Street junction going west along Desborough road. 24hours. AR-Desborough Road, Desborough Avenue, West Wycombe Road, Oxford Road and Bridge Street. Phase 2, Desborough Road, High Wycombe for approximately 200m along Desborough Road between Lilys Walk to the Bridge Street junction. 24hours. AR-: Lilys Walk, Abbey Way, Oxford Road, Westbourne Street and Desborough Road. Phase 3, Desborough Road, High Wycombe for 100m along Desborough Road between Bridge Street and Westbourne Street junction. 24hours. AR- Desborough Road, Bridge Street and Oxford Road. Phase 4, Desborough Road, High Wycombe for approximately 50m west along Desborough Road from Westbourne Street junction. 24hours. The Council has made The Buckinghamshire County Council (Lane End Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2017 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Lane End Road from junction of Rydal Way to the junction of Warwick Avenue. Alternative route: Lane End Road, Rydal Way, Carisbrooke Avenue and Warwick Avenue. The closure is required to allow tree works to take place commencing on 9 May 2017 between 0930 and 1530. The proposed Orderwill come into operation on 9 May 2017, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
