CITY OF YORK COUNCIL TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Notice is hereby given that City of York Council (the Council), in exercise of powers under Section 14(1) and 15(8) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), made an Order on the 2nd day of May 2017 extending the works period for the restrictions in respect of the location below.

LAYERTHORPE. YORK

This Order amends The York (Layerthorpe) (Temporary Traffic Restriction) Order 2017 (Original Order) by extending the works period, the said amendment to be effective from 1900 hours on the 4th day of May 2017 and ending at 2400 hours on the 5th day of May 2017. It is envisaged that the restriction will only be put in to effect between 1900hrs and 2300hrs on each day during the works period. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be signed during the works period.

The above temporary Order will not prohibit works or emergency access nor will they prohibit access to premises provided that access is not prevented by on-going works or safety concerns. Traffic signs/barriers will indicate the extent of the prohibitions/restrictions.
