NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U72416 Cotts Lane, Lugwardine, Temporary Closure Order 2017
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U72416 Cotts Lane 100 metres north of U72417 Court Close OS Grid Ref: 354646 / 241368. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4103 onto the C1144 Lumber lane onto the A438 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the raising of a buried manhole cover and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 3rd May 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
