NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1127 College Road, Hereford, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1127 College Road between the junction of the U80328 Burcott road and the B4359 Widemarsh Street OS Grid Ref: 351144 / 240853. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is
via onto the U80328 Burcott Road onto the U81079
Farriers Way onto the B4359 Newtown Road onto the B4359 Widemarsh Street and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the safe access for cabling to existing BT structure in footpath and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th May 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
