Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the Chippenham and Chippenham Without Consolidation Order 2016 by revoking

The Order will come into operation on 28 April 2017.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (d) A338 (Part), Collingbourne Ducis/Collingbourne Kingston/Burbage; from its junction with Everleigh Road, Collingbourne Ducis in a northerly direction to its junction with B3087 Burbage Road, Burbage to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing work, road markings, ironworks and associated works. Alternative route for HGVs: via A338 -A342 - A361 - A4 - A346 and vice versa. Alternative route for all other vehicles: via A338 - A342 - A345 - A4 - A346 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 2 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the hours of 19.00 and 06.00 until 26 May2017. Broad Town; for a distance of approximately 680m from Great Cotmarsh Farm to its southernmost point. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order which previously came into operation on 27 March 2017 will now recommence on 3 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00; (n) C120 (Part) Tockenham Road/Greenway (Part), Tockenham; from a point approximately 60m northwest of its junction with C130 Tockenham to a point approximately 160m southeast of its junction with Orchard Lane. Alternative route via
C120 Tockenham Road (unaffected length) - A3102 - C131 Preston
Lane - C120 Greenway (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 15 February 2017 will now recommence on 2 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 for four days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. On 31 January 2017 an inspector appointed by The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above order made under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order is to extinguish the public footpath running from Southfield Farm, at OS GR ST 9496-8677, in a south-westerly direction for approximately 77 metres, then south-easterly for approximately
118m to OS GR ST 9492-8663. The order also has the effect of
modifying the Malmesbury Rural District Council area definitive map and statement dated 1952 accordingly. A copy of the confirmed Order may be seen (free) at the Rights of Way Section, Unit 9, Ascot Court, White Horse Business Park, Trowbridge, BA14 0XA (0900 - 1700 weekdays). Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Footpath 11 (Part), Chippenham; for a distance of approximately 50m covering the area of the rail footbridge to enable resurfacing work to be undertaken on the footbridge due to water pooling. Alternative route via Cocklebury Road - Chippenham railway station bridge and vice versa. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 20 May 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required on weekends only until 12 June 2017. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months.
