THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COMMON ROAD, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Common Road, Chorleywood from its southernmost junction with Station Approach north westwards for a distance of approximately 50 metres ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Station Approach and
Common Road.
The Order is needed because the removal and replacement
of existing mobile telecommunication poles are proposed to
be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 May 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and
public holidays).

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a 20mph zone in parts of Watford as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals may be inspected from 21 April 2017 during normal office hours, by visiting in person, the offices of Parking Shop, Watford Borough Council, 71/73 Market Street, Watford or Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford; or viewed on line at www.heitfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting Watford and looking at Ref: W00517.
