(C2034 Rowney Green Lane, Rowney Green)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2034 Rowney Green Lane, Rowney Green in the following three phases:-
Phase 1 - from its junction with C2034 The Holloway to its junction with Gravel Pit Lane Phase 2 - from its junction with Gravel Pit Lane to its junction with Chapel Lane. Phase 3 - from its junction with Chapel Lane to its junction with C2001 Radford Road. The Order is being made to facilitate the installation of fibre optic broadband works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2001 Radford Road, C2001 The Square, C2291 Swan Street, C2291 Redditch Road, C2034 The Holloway and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 50 days Commencing: 17 May 2017.
(Clayfields and Brookhouse Lane, Ham Green)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of Clayfields and Brookhouse Lane, Ham Green
in 2 phases:-
Clayfields - from its junction with Brookhouse Lane to its junction with Blaze Lane
Brookhouse Lane - from its junction with Ham Green Lane to its junction with
C2079SillinsLane.
Order is being made to facilitate carriageway pre-surfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Clayfields - Blaze Lane, Feckenham Road, Tippings Hill, Love
Lane, C2079 Callow Hill Lane, Brookhouse Lane and vice versa.
Alternative route: Brookhouse Lane - Ham Green Lane and C2079 Sillins Lane.
Works to run concurrently.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days Commencing: 17 May 2017.
(Heathfield Road, Redditch)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of Heathfield Road, Redditch from its junction with Blackstitch Lane to its junction with Birchfield Road in order to facilitate carriageway works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Blackstitch Lane, Middle Piece Lane, Lower Common Lane,
Birchfield Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (within a 4 week period). Commencing: 22 May 2017.
(A43 5 Hollywood Bypass)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of A435 Hollywood Bypass, from its junction with A435 Alcester Road to its junction with Druids Lane in orderto facilitate carriageway pre-surfacing works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A435 Hollywood Bypass, A435 Millpool Hill, A435 Alcester Road,
Howard Road, A4040 Fordhouse Lane, A441 Pershore Road South, A441 Redditch Road, A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Redditch Road, A441 Alvechurch Bypass, A441
Cobbs Barn Farm Roundabout, A4023 Coventry Highway and A435 Alcester Road. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 nights (within a 4 week period). Commencing: 1 May 2017.
(C2035 Storrage Lane, Rowney Green, Alvechurch)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of C2035 Storrage Lane, Rowney Green, Alvechurch, from its junction with C2034 Rowney Green Lane to its junction with C2044 Icknield Street in orderto facilitate fibre installation works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2044 Icknield Street, B4101 Dagnell End Road, A441 Birmingham
Road, A441 Cobbs Barn Farm Roundabout, C2291 Redditch Road, C2034 The

(A441 Alvechurch Bypass (Northbound), Redditch)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of A441 Alvechurch Bypass (Northbound), Redditch
from its junction with A441 Cobbs Farm Roundabout to its junction with A441
Alvechurch Bypass in order to facilitate carriageway pre-surfacing works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A4023 Coventry Highway, A435 Alcester Road, A435 Hollywood bypass, Howard Lane, A440 Fordhouse Lane, A441 Pershore Road, A441 Pershore Road South, A441 Redditch Road, A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Birmingham Bypass, A441 Redditch
Road, A441 Hopwood Roundabout and A441 Alvechurch Bypass.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (within a 6 week
period). Commencing: 27 April 2017.
(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2017 [Disabled Persons' Parking Place on South Street, Redditch]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons' parking place on the following length and side of road in Redditch:
South Street (north west side) from a point 14 metres north east of its junction with Beaufort Street for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes.
A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to
make the Order may be inspected at Redditch Borough Council, Planning Department, Town Hall, Walter Stranz Square, Redditch, Worcs, B98 8AH, and
County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. Any objections/representations you may have must be sent in writing to me at County Hall or email roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.ukto be received by 24 May 2017.
(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Union Street and Britannia Close, Redditch]
On 13 April 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of
which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of
roads in Redditch:
Union Street (north side) from its junction with Millsbro Road for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction; (south side) from opposite its junction with
Millsbro Road for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction; from its junction with Britannia Close for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction and 10 metres in an easterly direction. Britannia Close (both sides) from its junction with Union Street for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 27 April 2017.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order
may be inspected at Redditch Borough Council, Planning Department, Town Hall,
Walter Stranz Square, Redditch, Worcs, B98 8AH, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
