Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U93624 High Street, Leominster, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U93624 High Street outside no 28 OS Grid Ref: 349627 / 259017. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U93624 Broad Street onto the A44 onto the B4361 onto U93624 South Street and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to permanent reinstatement of the carriageway after previous electrical fault works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 24th April 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 Night.
