Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1066 From A44 To Tidbatch Via Whitbourne, Whitbourne Temporary Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1066 From A44 To Tidbatch Via Whitbourne, Whitbourne, from Whitbourne Ford to 1 The Golds. Grid Ref: 372061 / 257992 to 372152 / 257350. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U65026 Ladywood onto the Whitbourne School Road onto
the U65030 onto the C1066 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to water mains renewal and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st of May 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 7 weeks.
