(B1013 Cherry Orchard Way) (Temporary 30MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit on B1013 Cherry Orchard Way in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 58 metres north of the access to Rochford Business Park, northwards to a point approximately 240 metres north of its junction with Cherry Orchard Lane (The road is currently 50MPH). 'The Essex County Council (B1013 Cherry Orchard Way, Rochford) (Combined Speed Limit) Order 2010' is hereby temporarily suspended insofar as it relates to the 50MPH on the above length of road only. All other restrictions will remain in force.
The temporary speed restriction is scheduled to commence 1 May 2017 to 18 August 2017 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while development works are undertaken. The Order will come into effect on 1 May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Heideburg Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Heideburg Road, Canvey Island in the Castle Point District, from its junction with Nevada Road for a distance approximately 41 m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th May 2017 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EN0142826650B - Essex And Suffolk Water) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while lay new connection works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Nevada Road, Corona Road, Brandenburg Road, Heideburg Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 17th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Lottem Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close Lottem Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Eastern Esplanade to its junction with Crescent Road.

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.

An alternative route is available via Crescent Road, Maurice Road, Eastern Esplanade and vice versa.
The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 27/04/17, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
