(Artillery Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Artillery Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Kimberley Road for a distance of approximately 25 m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th July 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AZ0081000591467 - National Grid Gas Distribution) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by National Grid Gas Distribution. An alternative route is available via Barrack Street, Port Lane, Artillery Street, Kimberley Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19th July 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Dated: 20/04/2017
