(Footpath 23, Brightlingsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 23, Brightlingsea in the district of Tendring, from its junction with Robinson Road southbound for a distance of approximately 245 metres to its junction with footpath 10.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th April 2017 for 6 weeks or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footpath reconstruction works are undertaken.
Alternative route will be via: Robinson Road and Chapel Road.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

(Park Road, Wivenhoe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Park Road, Wivenhoe in the Colchester District, from its junction with Bobbits Way to its junction with Queens Road, a distance of approximately 187 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th May 2017 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP201EH2224281 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Park Road, Rebow Road, High Street, Queens Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hunters Chase, Ardleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hunters Chase, Ardleigh in the Tendring District, from its junction with Dedham Road/ Ardleigh Road to its junction with Coggeshall Road a distance of approximately 1055 m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd May 2017 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP201EH2225100 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Ardleigh Road, Long Road West, Coggeshall Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Connaught Avenue, Frinton and Walton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Connaught Avenue, Frinton and Walton in the Tendring District, from approximately 10 m either side of the level crossing, a distance of approximately 65 m The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th June 2017 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (KL165TWN-68-76-190617 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Pole Barn Lane, Cliff Way, Waltham Way, Quendon Way, Rainham Way, Woodberry Way, The Parade, Church Road, Walton Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 19th June 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Botolphs Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Botolphs Street, Colchester in the Colchester District, from Priory Street for a distance of approximately 69 metres to its junction with Osborne Street. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st May 2017 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (EP20153031171 - Essex County Council) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while build outs removal works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via High Street, East Hill, Brook Street, Magdalen Street, St Botolphs Circus, St Botolphs Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 1st May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Maidenburgh Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maidenburgh Street, Colchester in the Colchester District (B), from its junction with George Street to its junction St Helen's Lane for a distance of approximately 76m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd May 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works (AD03153178158/01 - Anglian Water) with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
1. To temporarily close to all traffic Maidenburgh Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with George Street to its junction with St Helen's Lane for a distance of approximately 76m.
2. To temporarily suspend the No Through Traffic restriction on Maidenburgh Street as detailed in 'The Colchester (East Stockwell Street, Stockwell and Maidenburgh Street) (Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 1978' for the duration of this closure.
An alternative route is available via - Northbound - Maidenburgh Street, Northgate Street, Middle Mill Road, St Peters Street, Middleborough, North Hill, Middleborough Roundabout, Balkerne Hill Southbound, Ecn03014, Maldon Road Roundabout, Southway Eastbound, Headgate, Head Street, High Street.
Southbound - George Street, High Street, East Hill, Brook Street, Magdalen, Balkerne Hill, Middleborough, St Peters Street, Maidenburgh Street.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
