East Lothian Council (East Linton) (20mph Speed Limit) Experimental Order 2017 TO - 098 / 17
East Lothian Council gives notice that it intends to make an Experimental Order under Sections 82, 83 and 84 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the driving of vehicles at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour at any time on any of the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 of this Order.
A copy of the proposed Order, Schedules, plans showing the extent of the restrictions and the statement of reasons for making the Order can be viewed at Main Reception, John Muir House Haddington, and East Linton Library however they are also available on the council's website at www.eastlothian.gov.uk and on www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
These documents are available for inspection for the period from Monday 24th April to Friday 26th May 2017 during normal office hours at John Muir House and during library opening hours.
Any person may, before expiry of the period noted above, object to the making of the Order.
