PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (C2047 Station Road, Blackminster)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
The Council have made an Order to close that part of C2047 Station Road, Blackminster, from its junction with U45207 Merry Lane to its junction with B4085 Blackminster in order to facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: B4085 Blackminster, B4085 Station Road, C2050 Long Hyde Road, C2050 Bennetts Hill, U45207 Merry Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days: Commencing: 25 April 2017.
(C2117 Badgers Hill to Handgate Lane, Sheriffs Lench, Evesham)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 The Council have made an Order to close that part of
C2117 Badgers Hill to Handgate Lane, Sheriffs Lench,
Evesham, from its junction with U43606 Evesham Road for a distance of 400 metres in a south westerly
direction in order to facilitate ducting works for
Barden Network
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other
form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route C2117 Hill Furze, C2022 Fladbury Hill, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Worcester Road, A44 Chadbury Bypass, U44000 Lenchwich Lane, C2121 Lenchwick Lane, U43606 Hipton Hill, U43606 Evesham
Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days Commencing: 24 April 2017.
(Footpath BY-552, Broadway)(Temporary Closure
Order) 2017
The Council have made an Order the effect of which is to close Footpath BY-552, Broadway for the entire
length.
The Order is being made to facilitate maintenance work on a wall.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary
works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: is via Footpath BY-640, Broadway, C2299 High Street, C2300 Leamington Road and
vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a
period not exceeding 6 months or until the works
which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is
anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 1 month commencing on 20 April 2017.
(District of Wychavon - Pershore) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2016 [Prohibition of Waiting No Loading and Unloading and Revocation of Restriction of Waiting on Broad Street, Pershore]
On 6 April 2017 Worcestershire County Council
made an Order the effect of which will be to REPLACE restriction of waiting 8.00am - 6.00pm with prohibition of waiting at any time, no loading and unloading on the following length and side of road in
Pershore:
Broad Street (north side) from a point 38 metres
west of its junction with B4084 High Street for a distance of 25 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of
contraventions of waiting prohibitions and
restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 27 April 2017.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement
of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Wychavon District Council, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Station Road, Pershore, Worcs., WR10 1PT and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
