HOUGHTON.COMMON Community of BURTON County of PEMBROKESHIRE
BDS Contracts (Milford Haven) Ltd has applied to the Welsh Ministers for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Houghton Common.
The proposed works are:
1 The construction of twenty metres of 150mm diameter upvc foul drainage pipe with two Type 2 manholes with invert levels of 1.52m and 0.975m below existing ground levels and constructed in accordance with the Welsh Ministers standards for new gravity sewers and lateral drains on 60 square metres (area) and/or 20 metres (length). The works will be located immediately to the north of the existing Welsh Water pumping station.
2 Approximately two to three metres of 150mm diameter upvc storm water pipe discharging from a holding lagoon to the existing stream situated thirty four metres to the West of the Welsh Water pumping station on Houghton common.
A copy of the application form and map showing the proposed works can be inspected at the Neyland Public Library, St Cements Road, Neyland, Milford Haven between the hours of 10.00 am to 01.15 pm and 02.00 pm to 4.00 pm weekdays (not public holidays) until the 25th. day of May 2017. Any objections or representations should be sent in writing ON or BEFORE that date to the Planning Inspectorate Wales at Crown Buildings, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ, or Wales@pins.qsi.gov.uk. Letters sent to the Planning Inspectorate cannot be treated as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly to other interested parties.
