NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14
Witney Bridleway No. 410/44 (Part) Public Path Diversion Order 2015
On 4th April 2017 West Oxfordshire District Council confirmed the above order. The effect of the order as confirmed is TO DIVERT the entire width of that part of public bridleway numbered 410/44 on the Definitive Map for the Parish of Witney that runs from Downs Road at OS Grid Reference SP 3280 0916 (Point A on the Order plan) in a general easterly direction for a distance of approximately 63m to OS Grid Reference SP 3287 0916 (Point B) and shown by a bold black continuous line on the order map AND CREATE the alternative length of public
bridleway in the Parish of Witney that runs from Downs Road at OS Grid
Reference SP 3280 0922 (Point C on the Order plan) with a width of 10m in a general east-north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 10m, continuing with a width of 5m in a general east-north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 21m to OS Grid Reference SP 3281 0923 (Point D)
before heading in a general south easterly and then general easterly direction
for approximately 57m to OS Grid Reference SP 3287 0921 (Point E) then continuing with a width of 10m in a general southerly direction for approximately 22m to OS Gri d Reference SP 3287 0919 (Poi nt F) then conti nui ng with a wi dth
of 5m in a southerly direction for approximately 24m to OS Grid Reference SP
3286 0916 (Point G) then in a general south easterly direction for approximately 5m to OS Grid Reference SP 3287 0916 (Point B) re-joining the bridleway numbered 410/44 on the Definitive Map for the Parish of Witney shown by a bold dashed line on the order map.
A copy of the confirmed Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at the Elmfield Offices of West Oxfordshire District Council, Woodgreen, Witney, Oxford­shire, Council from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.
This order comes into force on the date on which the Oxfordshire County Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with, but if any person aggri eved by the Order desi res to questi on its vali dity or that of any provisi on contai ned i n it on the ground that it i s not withi n the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relati on to the confirmati on of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date on whi ch the Noti ce i s fi rst publi shed as requi red by paragraph 7 of schedule 14 to that Act.
