(40 M.P.H And 60 M.P.H Speed Limit) Order 2017 On 30 March 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to IMPOSE a 40mph speed limit on the following lengths ofroads in Whittington:-
C2287 St Peter's Drive from its junction with C2055 Norton Roundabout for a distance of 52 metres in a northerly direction. A4440 Crookbarrow Way from its junction with C2055 Norton Roundabout for a distance of 75 metres in an easterly direction; from its junction with C2055 Norton Roundabout for a distance of 136 metres in a south westerly direction; from a point 114 metres south west of its junction with A44 Whittington roundabout for a distance of 95 metres in a south westerly direction. C2055 Norton Road from its junction with C2055 Norton Roundabout for a distance of 17 metres in a south easterly direction. A4440WhittingtonRoadfrom apoint70metressouth east from the centre of its junction with A4440 Swinedherd Wayin a southerlydirection to its junction with A4440 Crookbarrow Way. A44 Worcester to Evesham Road from its junction with A4440 Crookbarrow Way in a south easterly direction to a point 25 metres north west of its junction with M5 motorway; from a point 42 metres south east of its junction with M5 motorwayin asouth easterlydirection to a point 325 metres north west of its junction with C2055 Woodbury Lane including UC47644 Whittington Road Side Road.
IMPOSE a 60 mph Speed Limit:-A4440CrookbarrowWayfrom apoint75 metresnorth east of its junction with C2055 Norton Roundabout for adistance of1005 metres in anorth easterlydirection. There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 20 April 2017.

10 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017
Ordermade: toimposeatemporary10mph speed limit on that part of A449 Ombersley Road, Hawford, from the bridge over the Droitwich Canal for a distance of 465 metres in a southerly direction to its junction with A449 Claines roundabout, in order to facilitate essential carriageway resurfacing works. Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 nights (18:30hrs to 07:30hrs within a 3 week period). Commencing 18 April 2017

Order made: to close thatpartofU53134 Castle Place, Worcester, from its junction with U53132 Edgar Street for adistance of60metres in asouth westerlydirection in order to facilitate street lighting works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess;andtoallowtheworkstobeundertaken. New Bank Street.

The Order has been made to facilitate gas works. The Order will temporarily suspend the one-way traffic restriction on GregorysMill Streetto enable the reverse flow of traffic in an easterly direction. There will also be no entryon to Gregorys Mill Streetfrom A38 Droitwich Road for the duration ofthe works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: to close that part of Dormston Lane, Dormston from its junction with C2053 Cockshot Lane to its junction with A442 Alcester Road in order to facilitate carriageway works on behalf of Barden Network.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A442 Alcester Road, C2053 Cockshot Lane and vice versa.

Proposed Order: to impose a temporary 10 mph speed limit on that part of A422 Worcester Road, Grafton Flyford from its junction with Libbery Lane to its junction with C2077 Grafton Flyford, in order to facilitate carriagewayworks Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles. On 30 March 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:
Barbourne Walk (south side) from its junction with Somers Road for a distance of 18.2 metres in a north westerly direction; from its junction with Pitchcroft Lane for a distance of 11.3 metres in a south easterly direction and 3 metres in a northerly direction; (east side) from its junction with Barbourne Lane (north east) for a distance of 22.4 metres in a southerly direction. Somers Road (north side) from its junction with Barbourne Walk for a distance of 17.5 metres in a south westerly direction. Pitchcroft Lane (both sides) from its junction with Barbourne Walk for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction. Barbourne Lane (south east side) from its junction with Barbourne Walk for adistanceof38 metresin anorth easterlythen south easterly direction; (north west side) from its junction with Barbourne Walk for a distance of 9.3 metres in a north easterly direction; (south west side) from its junction with Barbourne Walk for a distance of 38.8 metres in anorth westerlydirection. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
