TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No.22) Order 2017" authorising the stopping up of an eastern part width of Priestley Road comprising its highway verge at Basingstoke in the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane to enable development as permitted by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, under reference 16/00614/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SE/S247/2691) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Civic Offices (Parklands Building), London Road, Basingstoke RG21 4AH.
Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 12 April 2017 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
