Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1148 from A438 to Stoke Bridge, Stoke Edith, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1148 from A438 to Stoke Bridge at the railway bridge OS Grid Ref: 360089 / 241409. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A438 onto the A417 onto the A4103 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the replacement of safety fencing and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th April 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
