HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 25 GYPSY LANE CREATION AGREEMENT 2017 TO THE SOUTH WEST OF ABBOTS LANGLEY
An Agreement was made on 10 March 2017 to upgrade from Footpath to Bridleway that part of Abbots Langley 40 (Gypsy Lane) running from TL 0858 0019 near the railway line southwards for approximately 465 metres to join Watford Road at TQ 0855 9973 near the roundabout to the M25.

16. that length of Queenswood Crescent, Watford from its westernmost junction with Sheepcot Lane south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its easternmost junction with Sheepcot Lane, a distance of approximately 359 metres.
An alternative route will be via Sheepcot Lane.
17. that length of Coates Way, Garston/Watford from its junction with A405 St Albans Road north eastwards, southwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 1085 metres.
An alternative route will be via A405 St Albans Road and A412 St Albans Road.
18. that length of Grove Mill Lane, Watford from its junction with A411 Hempstead Road south westwards, westwards and north westwards to its junction with Fir Tree Hill, a distance of approximately 1962 metres.
An alternative route will be via A411 Hempstead Road, A41 (Hempstead Road/Watford Road) and Langleybury Lane.
19. that length of Sidmouth Close, South Oxhey from its junction with Fulford Grove north westwards for its
entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
20. that length of Hayling Road, South Oxhey from its junction with B4542 Prestwick Road south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with A4125 Sandy Lane, a distance of approximately 1932 metres.
An alternative route will be via B4542 (Prestwick Road/Brookdene Avenue), A4125 Hampermill Lane and A4125 Sandy Lane.
21. that length of Northwick Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Muirfield Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with B4542 Prestwick Road, a distance of approximately 791 metres.
An alternative route will be via Muirfield Road, Oxhey Drive and B4542 Prestwick Road.
22. that length of High Street, Abbots Langley from its junction with Gallowes Hill Lane north eastwards to its junction with Tibbs Hill Road, a distance of approximately 660 metres.
An alternative route will be via Gallowes Hill Lane, Gallows Hill, Hamilton Road, Hunton Bridge Hill, South Way, Langley Lane and Tibbs Hill Road.
23. that length of Gallowes Hill Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Gallowes Hill north eastwards to its junction with High Street, a distance of approximately 1211 metres.
An alternative route will be via Gallowes Hill, Hamilton Road, Hunton Bridge Hill, South Way, Langley Lane, Tibbs Hill
Road and High Street.
24. that length of East Lane, Bedmond from its junction with Chequers Lane north westwards, south westwards,
north westwards and south westwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via Alva Way and Penrose Avenue.
26. that length of Hall Close, Mill End from its junction with Springwell Avenue north westwards, north eastwards
and north westwards for its entire length.

27. that length of Fearnley Mead, Mill End from its junction with Hall Close north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.

An alternative route will be via A404 (Chorleywood Road/Rickmansworth Road), Solesbridge Lane and Sarratt Lane.
31. that length of New Road, Croxley Green from its junction with The Green south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A412 Watford Road, a distance of approximately 954 metres.
An alternative route will be via The Green and A412 Watford Road.
32. that length of Winton Drive, Croxley Green from its junction with A412 Watford Road north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Baldwins Lane, a distance of approximately 948 metres.
An alternative route will be via A412 Watford Road and Baldwins Lane.
33. that length of Rousebarn Lane, Croxley Green from a point 9 metres north west of its junction with Little Green Lane south eastwards and eastwards for a distance of approximately 763 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access
to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 April 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the
restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and
5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN SARRATT, CARPENDERS PARK AND OXHEY HALL) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of The Green, Sarratt from its junction with Poles Hill south eastwards to its junction with Moor Lane, a distance of approximately 765 metres.
An alternative route will be via Poles Hill, Dunny Lane, The Street, The Common, Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Sarratt Road, Dimmocks Lane and The Green.
2. that length of The Mead, Carpenders Park from its easternmost junction with Foxleys south westwards to its westernmost junction with Foxleys, a distance of approximately 327 metres.
An alternative route will be via Foxleys.
3. that length of Raglan Gardens, Oxhey Hall from its junction with A4125 Hampermill Lane south eastwards to its junction with Oaklands Avenue, a distance of approximately 509 metres.
An alternative route will be via A4125 Hampermill Lane and Oaklands Avenue.
4. that length of Penrose Avenue, Carpenders Park from its junction with Greenfield Avenue north eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with The Courtway, a distance of approximately 382 metres.
An alternative route will be via Greenfield Avenue, Alva Way and Penrose Avenue.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

3. that length of Park Avenue, Bushey from its junction with Greatham Road northwards and north eastwards to its junction with the Link Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 539 metres.
An alternative route will be via Greatham Road, Bushey Hall Road, B462 Aldenham Road, Bushey Mill Lane and
Park Avenue.
4. that length of Robin Hood Drive, Bushey from its junction with Park Avenue north westwards to its junction with Marion Close, a distance of approximately 310 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. the service road fronting Nos.27-47 High Road, Bushey Heath from its northernmost junction with A4140 High Road south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 76 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. that length of Stratford Way, Watford from its junction with Cassiobury Drive north eastwards to its junction with A411 Hempstead Road, a distance of approximately 246 metres.
An alternative route will be via Cassiobury Drive, Langley Way and A411 Hempstead Road.
7. that length of Carisbrooke Avenue, Watford from its junction with Eastfield Avenue north westwards to its junction with Devon Road, a distance of approximately 182 metres.
An alternative route will be via Eastfield Avenue, Byron Avenue and Devon Road.
8. that length of Cassiobury Drive, Watford from its junction with the Langley Way roundabout south eastwards for
its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. the Cassiobury Drive/Langley Way roundabout, Watford from its junction with Cassiobury Drive clockwise for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via Cassiobury Drive, Stratford Way, Parkside Drive and Langley Way Or alternatively via Cassiobury Drive, Stratford Way, A411 Hempstead Road and Langley Way.
10. that length of Local Board Road, Watford from its junction with Lower High Street south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
11. that length of Longspring, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road north eastwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 654 metres.
An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Judge Street and A412 St Albans Road.
12. that length of Old Forge Close, Watford from its junction with High Road north westwards to its junction with Hill Farm Avenue, a distance of approximately 138 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
13. that length of Bushey Mill Crescent, Watford from its westernmost junction with Bushey Mill Lane north eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its easternmost junction with Bushey Mill Lane, a distance of approximately 582 metres.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
14. that length of Lowestoft Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south eastwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 144 metres.

15. that length of Gorle Close, Watford from its junction with Harris Road northwards for its entire length.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, WATFORD) (20 MPH ZONE) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a 20 mph speed limit zone in parts of Watford as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
