WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC NOTICE

at any time on the following lengths and sides of road

in Worcester:-

Blakefield Gardens (north side) from a point 10 metres south of its junction with Bromyard Road to its junction

with Star Lane; (south side) from its junction with

Graham Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly

direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order

(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons'

vehicles.

A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement

of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be

inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service

Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester,

WR1 3PB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. Any objections/ representations you may have must be sent in writing to me at County Hall or email roadtrafficregs@ worcestershire.gov.uk to be received by 4 May 2017.

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Hallow Road, Martley

Road and Greenford Gardens, Worcester]

On 30 March 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Hallow Road (east side) from a point opposite the

centre line of itsjunction

with Martley Road for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction; (west side) from its junction with

Martley Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction. Martley Road (both sides) from its

junction with Hallow Road/Henwick Road for a distance of 28 metres in a westerly direction; (south

side) from a point 10 metres east of its junction with Greenford Gardens to a point 10 metres west of that

junction. Greenford Gardens (east side) from its

junction with Martley Road for a distance of 16 metres

in a southerly direction; (west side) from its junction with Martley Road for a distance of 20 metres in a

southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order

(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain

exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 13 April 2017.

On 23 March 2017 Worcestershire County Council

made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Worcester:

John Comyn Drive (both sides) from its junction with

A38 Droitwich Road until the termination of the

adopted road.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order

(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain

exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 13 April 2017.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (U50017 Thorneloe Road, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017

Order made: to close that part of U50017 Thorneloe Road, Worcester, from its junction with U50017 Thorneloe Walk to its junction with U50020 Barbourne Terrace in order to facilitate Western Power works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U50017 Thorneloe Walk, A38 Barbourne Road, U50020 Barbourne Terrace, Barbourne Crescent, U50019 Stephenson Road, U50018 Sabrina Terrace and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

4 days: Commencing: 10 April 2017.



(U52308 Timberdine Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of U52308 Timberdine Avenue, Worcester, from its junction with A38 Bath Road to its junction with A44 London Road in order to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises

fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U52131 Battenhall Road, A44

London Road, A38 Commandery Road, A38 Bath Road

and vice versa

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

1 day: Commencing: 10April2017.



(A443 Hallow Road, Worcester)(Temporary 10MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017

Order made: to impose a temporary 10 mph speed limit on that part of A443 Hallow Road, Worcester from its

junction with U54042 Lechmere Crescent South to its

junction with U54042 Lechmere Crescent North, in order to facilitate essential carriageway resurfacing works. Exemption: Special Forces vehicles. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

2 days (within a 2 week period). Commencing 10 April



2017.

(Footpath MT-696, Martley)(Temporary Closure

Order) 2017

Order made: to close Footpath MT-696, Martley between the B4197 and Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 7529 5993 in order to facilitate footway reconstruction and associated works.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises

having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary

works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: is via the remainder of Footpath

MT-696, Footpath MT-701, Martley and the B4197 The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is

proposed to be carried out have been completed,

whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that

the Order will only be operative for 1 month

commencing on 8 April 2017.

(U52131 Battenhall Road, Worcester)(Temporary

Closure) Order 2017

Order made: to close that part of U52131 Battenhall

Road, Worcester, from its junction with A44 London

Road to its junction with U52125 Battle Road in order

to facilitate carriageway patching and resurfacing works.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises

fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A44 London Road, U52124 Camp Hill Road, U52125 Battle Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

5 days (within a 3 week period): Commencing: 6 April

(C2208 Post Office Lane, Kempsey)(Temporary

Closure) Order 2017

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2208 Post

Office Lane, Kempsey, from its junction with U60002 Roman Road for a distance of 450 metres in westerly direction in order to facilitate carriageway works.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises

fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2208 post office Lane, A38 Main Road, U60034 Napleton Lane, U60002 Roman Road and

vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

3 days Commencing: 27 April 2017.
