The Scottish Borders Council (D83/1 Between B709 Satyr Sykes and Plora Wood, Innerleithen) (Temporary Closing) Order 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of two days, shall come into force on Saturday 8 April 2017 and Sunday 9 April 2017 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 each day.
The closures are required to allow the British Universities and Colleges mountain bike event to take place. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along that length of the D83/1 between the B709 Satyr Sykes and Plora Wood, Innerleithen. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is northeast on the B709, east on the A72, south on the D80/1 and west on the D83/1 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of
the foregoing.
