Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under it's relevant powers, have made the B4348 FROM BLACK LION BRIDGE TO C1205 (23214794), CUSOP, HEREFORDSHIRE,
Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road : B4348 by the junction with Lower Mead the junction with Cusop Dingle to Dulas Brook OS Grid Ref: from 323315/242244-232435/242301. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via B4348 on to the B4350 towards Whitey-on-Wye on to the A438 to Hereford on to the A49 then on to the A465 heading out of Hereford on to the B4349 and then on to the B4348 toward Cusop and visa versa.
The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th April 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
