Usk Town Football Club has applied to the Welsh Ministers for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Usk Island Common. The proposed works are the erection of a football pitch perimeter barrier and the area they will cover is 6528 square metres and 328 metres in length and the barrier will be located around the current football pitch. A copy of the application form and map showing the proposed works can be inspected at A Jones & Co (USK) Ltd between the hours of 10.00 am and 4.00 pm weekdays (not public holidays) until the 30th day of April [at least 28 days from last appearance of notice].
