(50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The orders will be update and replace the existing speed limit orders listed below, with the effects being as follows:
a) The existing 40mph speed limits for Foxcombe Road over Boars Hill will be reduced to 30mph.This will start Oxford side of Red Copse Lane and continue over the hill into Fox Lane past the Fox public house;
b) Berkeley Road will also become 30mph to near the Jarn Way junction, as will the first 158 metres of Bayworth Lane;
c) The section of the A423 dual-carriageway (southern ring road) from the A34/Hinksey Hill roundabout through to Heyford Hill roundabout will be reduced to 50mph;
d) The slip roads on and off the A423 for Kennington will be reduced to 30mph; and
e) Kennington Road,the 30mph will be extended to meet Old Abingdon Road which will also become 30mph.

Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below no later than 28 April 2017. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice.They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
