ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Sandford on Thames Weir - Footpath Closure Date of Order: 10 April 2017 Coming into force: 24 April 2017

This Order is being introduced because of temporary footbridge removal north of the lock to allow for large deliveries which is anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath 263/8 and 335/15 as and when needed during the operations. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises/ property which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route for pedestrians is via Footpaths 263/7, 263/5, Poplar Grove,The Avenue, Footpath 263/4 and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
