Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in accordance with the provisions of Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, intend to vary the fees for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Licences and Private Hire Operator Licences. They will be applicable within the Wiltshire Council area as detailed below with effect from 1st May 2017 (or on a date, being not later than two months from the first date, if objection is made). Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (Devizes) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation I Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Devizes) (Prohibition and Restriction | of Waiting, Taxi Rank Clearways and On Street Parking) Consolidation Order 2009 (with amendments 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8) and re-enact it in the above Order and to include additional restrictions the effect of which will be as follows: a) To introduce a new zone to the Consolidation Order which will be known as Zone A; b) To remove No Waiting at any time with no changes to be made on the ground on St James Gardens - both sides - from a point 5 metres south of its junction with Victoria Road to a point 8 metres south of that junction; c) To introduce No Waiting at any time on Victoria Road - north side - from a point in line with the eastern boundary wall of property No. 43 Victoria Road to a point 12 metres west of the junction of Victoria Road and St James Gardens; Victoria Road - south side - from a point 3 metres west of a point in line with the western property wall of property No. 66 Victoria Road to a point 12 metres west of the junction of Victoria Road and St James Gardens; d) To introduce Resident Parking Monday to Saturday 8am - 6pm Zone A permit holders only on Victoria Road - north side - from a point 6 metres east of its junction with New Park Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary wall of property No. 43 Victoria Road; Victoria Road - south side - i) from a point 13 metres east of its junction with New Park Road to a point 5 metres west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 24 and 26 Victoria Road ii) from a point 2 metres east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 24 and 26 Victoria Road to a point 5 metres east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 44 and 46 Victoria Road. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Wessex Water to carry out work for a new connection: (a) C377 Monday Market Street (Part), Devizes;
from its junction with A361 New Park Street to its junction with C377 Sidmouth Street. Alternative route via C377 Maryport Street - C377 Monday Market Street (unaffected length) - A361 - C377 Sidmouth Street. This Order will come into operation on 24 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 26 April 2017. This Order will come into operation on 26 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 5 May 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction work, surface dressing and road markings: (d) C172 (Part), Yatton Keynell and Castle Combe; from its junction with B4039 Combe Leys, via Brooms Farm to its junction with C86 The Street. Alternative route via C86 The Street - B4039 Kent's Bottom/Combe Leys and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 31 March 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 6 April 2017; (e) Priory Farm Lane (Grove Lane to Honey Knob Hill), Kington St. Michael; from its junction with C172 Grove Lane to its junction with C154 Honey Knob Hill. Alternative route via C172 Grove Lane - C154 Honey Knob Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 3 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 7 April 2017; (f) C172 Stanton Lane/Kington Lane, Kington St. Michael and Stanton St. Quintin; from its junction with C154 Honey Knob Hill to its junction with C72 Stanton St. Quintin. Alternative route via C154 Honey Knob Hill - UC Road to Wood Barn Hill - C72 Stanton St. Quintin and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 3 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 07.00 and 18.00 until 7 April 2017. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (g) Back Lane (Part), Marlborough; for a distance of approximately 50m outside property 'Killycoonagh' to enable Thames Water to carry out installation of a new water supply. Alternative route via Back Lane (unaffected length) - Hyde Lane - Cardigan Road - Cross Lane - Back Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 3 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily until 7 April 2017. Alternative route via UC Park Lane - UC The Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 3 April 2017 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 5 April 2017. For further information please contact Matthew Coles (Wessex Water) on 0345 600 4 600. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will
be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are possible due to the nature of some of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
