ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14
THE M62 AND M606 MOTORWAYS (CHAIN BAR ROUNDABOUT) (CAR SHARE LANE) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the M62 and the M606 Motorways, in the District of Kirklees to enable traffic monitoring works to be carried out in safety due to congestion and safety issues. The works are expected to start at 00:01 hours on Sunday 2 April 2017 and ending when the said works have been completed. The effect of the Order, during the works period, will be to suspend the regulations prohibiting the use of a motor vehicle, taxi, goods or heavy goods commercial vehicle with less than 2 people including the driver using the car share lane connecting the nearside lane of the M606 southbound carriageway with the nearside lane of the M62 eastbound carriageway and bypassing Chain Bar Roundabout, a distance of 2000 metres. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the restriction. This Order comes into force on 1 April 2017 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
