WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the orders will be to introduce the following:

A50 HIGHER KNUTSFORD ROAD AND ADJACENT STREETS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway A50 Higher Knutsford Road from Station Road to Knutsford Road Thelwall New Road from Higher Knutsford Road to Old Knutsford Road Greenbank Road from Higher Knutsford Road to Hill Top Road Queens Drive from Higher Knutsford Road to Old Knutsford Road Heathfield Park from Higher Knutsford Road for its entire length Marlfield Road from Higher Knutsford Road to Tudor Close Middlehurst Road from Higher Knutsford Road to Kildonan Road A50 Knutsford Road from Higher Knutsford Road to Cross Lane Knutsford Old Road from Higher Knutsford Road to Thelwall New Road Hunts Lane from Higher Knutsford Road to Hill Top Road Victoria Road from Hunts Lane to Alexandra Road

The Order will be effective from Monday 24th April 2017 for a period of 6 weeks, between the hours of 7pm-1 pm when signed on site. The works are to be undertaken in phases as detailed below.

Phase 1: Higher Knutsford Road from Station Road to Queens Drive

Phase 2: Higher Knutsford Road/Knutsford Road from Queens Drive to Cross Lane

Phase 3: Hunts Lane from Higher Knutsford Road to Hill Top Road.

The alternative routes are:

Phase 1: Higher Knutsford Road viaA506l Knutsford Road/Thelwall Lane, A49 Wilderspool Causeway, A49 London Road, A56 Chester Road and vice versa. Phase 2: Higher Knutsford Road/Knutsford Road via Hunts Lane, Ackers Road, A56 Chester Road and vice versa.

Phase 3: Hunts Lane via A56 Chester Road, A50 Knutsford Road and vice versa.

The restrictions are required to undertake carriageway surfacing. Ref: HIGH/1731

A572 PENNINGTON LANE & ADJACENT STREETS (PROHIBITON OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY. 20MPH SPEED LIMIT AND SUSPENSION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway

A572 Pennington Lane its full length from the western borough boundary with St. Helens to the eastern borough boundary with St. Helens Temporary Prohibition of Driving

Penkford Lane from its junction with Pennington Lane to its junction with Collins Green and Penny Lane

Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (A572 Pennington Lane/B5204 Penkford Lane)(Revocation and Speed Limits) Order 2015 Schedule 1 - 30mph Speed Limit in respect of:

A572 Pennington Lane from the western borough boundary with St. Helens to the eastern borough boundary with St. Helens

Schedule 2 - 50mph Speed Limit in respect of A572 Pennington Lane (west of B5204 Penkford Lane)

Temporary 20 mph Speed Limit

A572 Pennington Lane from the western borough boundary with St. Helens to the eastern borough boundary with St. Helens

Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Various Roads in Burtonwood)(ProhibitJon of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 1997

In so far as it relates to the following:- Broad Lane, Penkford Lane and Penny Lane Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Various Roads in Burtonwood and Winwick)(Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 2001

In so far as it relates to the following:- Alder Lane, Collins Green Lane and Lumber Lane

The Order will be effective from Monday 24th April 2017 for a period of 7 weeks and will

be implemented in phases to ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum.

Phase 1: Pennington Lane from 100m west of Penkford Lane to the eastern borough

boundary with St. Helens (operational between the hours of 7pm -1 am)

Phase 2: Pennington Lane from the western borough boundary with St. Helens to a point

50m east of Pennington Lane Farm (operational between the hours of 7pm - 1am)

Phase 3: Pennington Lane from a point 50m east of Pennington Lane Farm to 100m west

of Penkford Lane (operational between the hours of 7pm - 5am)

The Temporary 20 mph Speed Limit will be in operation 24 hours a day for the duration of

this order. All other restrictions and closures will be in place as and signed on site. Access

will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The alternative routes will be:-

Phase 1: Common Lane, A572 Crow Lane West, A572 Crow Lane East, A49 Winwick Road, A49 Newton Road, Hollins Lane, Alder Lane, Fir Tree Lane, Lumber Lane, Collins Green Lane, Penny Lane, Broad Lane, Fleet Lane, Waring Avenue and vice versa Phases 2 & 3: Penkford Lane, Penny Lane, Broad Lane, Fleet Lane, Waring Avenue and vice versa.

The restrictions and closures are required to undertake a carriage resurfacing works.

VARIOUS ROADS IN PENKETH AND WHITTLE HALL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway Thorn Close from Maple Crescent to Kirkwall Drive Mansion Road from Hall Nook to Hamble Drive

Burtonwood Road from Sunset Boulevard to end of Cul-de-sac at Boston Boulevard

Gregory Close from Twenty Acre Road to Cavendish Close

Cavendish Close from Cromwell Avenue to Gregory Close

Livingstone Close from Cavendish Close for the entire length

The Order will be effective from Monday 24th April 2017 for a period of 7 weeks, between

the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm when signed on site.

The alternative routes are:

Thorn Close via Maple Crescent, Oak Road, Hall Nook, Manston Road, Hamble Drive, Kirkwall Drive and vice versa.

Manston Road via Hamble Drive, Kirkwall Drive, Thorn Close, Maple Crescent, Oak Road, Hall Nook and vice versa.

Gregory Close via Twenty Acre Road, Cromwell Avenue, Cavendish Close and vice versa. Cavendish Close via Gregory Close, Twenty Acre Road, Cromwell Avenue and vice versa. The restrictions are required to undertake footway and carriageway surfacing. DATED 30th March 2017 Ref: HIGH/1729



ACCESS WILL BE UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE RELEVANT CONTRACTOR FOR THE DURATION OF THE WORKS.

THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (A574 WARRINGTON ROAD, CULCHETH) (REVOCATION AND INTRODUCTION OF SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2,4,84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be as follows: -

1) The Orders specified in Column 1 of Schedule 1 below are revoked to the extent as specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule 1.



2) To introduce a 30 miles per hour speed limit on the restricted road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 2 below to the extent as specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule 2.



3) To introduce a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 3 below to the extent as specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule 3.



Details of the proposals are in the draft Order which, together with plans showing the restricted areas and a Statement of the Council's Reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Cheryl Nicholson of Legal Services or delivered by hand to the address above by 20th April 2017 and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.

The Borough of Warrington (Consolidation of Restricted Roads) Order 1976 is revoked In so far as it relates to Schedule 3

The Borough of Warrington (A574 Warrington Road and Silver Lane) (Speed Limits) Order 2015 is revoked in so far as it relates to paragraph 6

- REVOCATION Column 2

That length of Warrington Road (A574), Culcheth which extends from its junction with Glebeland, southwards for a distance of approximately 200 yards. No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on the A574 Warrington Road, between a point 168 metres north of its junction with Silver Lane and its junction with Newchurch Lane.
