NOTICE OF MAKING
(Parkgate & Parkgate Lane, Knutsford)
(Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that on the 16th March 2017 Cheshire East Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty with Section 122 of the said Act.
1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 23rd March 2017, will be to introduce a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days on the following lengths and sides of roads in Knutsford:-Parkgate
North side from its junction with Parkgate Lane for a distance of
26 metres in an easterly direction. Parkgate South side from its junction with Parkgate Lane for a distance of 23.5 metres in an easterly direction. Parkgate Lane East side from a point 18.5 metres north of its junction with Parkgate for a distance of 32.5 metres in a southerly direction.
2. A copy of the Order, a map showing the restricted area, a statement of reasons for making the order, a copy of this public notice and a copy of the public notice of the proposal to make the order may be examined during the usual office hours at the offices of Cheshire East Borough Council at Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach CW11 1HZ and at the and at the Knutsford Public Library.
3. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Ciceley Mill Lane, Rostherne
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, lay new sewer. Prohibition of traffic-Ciceley Mill Lane. Rostherne
From the junction with Mereside Road to New Road. The alternative route will be via Ciceley Mill Lane, Mereside Road, Ashley Road, Rostherne Lane, New Road and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.
The closures will be in place for 24 hours a day.
This order will come into operation on 27th March 2017 and will
continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to
complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is
anticipated that the works will be completed by 8th May 2017.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
Restricted Byway No. 4 Tabley Superior and Restricted Byway
No. 2 Mere
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restriction) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit all traffic/ users on that length of Public Restricted Byway composed of the following: That length of Restricted Byway No. 4 Tabley Superior which commences at OSGR SJ 7093 8051 and runs in a generally northerly direction for approx. 56m to its junction with Restricted Byway No. 2 Mere at the parish boundary at OSGR SJ 7096 8055.
That length of Restricted Byway No. 2 Mere which commences at its
junction with Restricted Byway No. 4 Tabley Superior at the parish
boundary at OSGR SJ 7096 8055 and runs in a generally northerly
direction for approx. 565m to its junction with Public Bridleway No. 1
Mere at Winterbottom Farm at OSGR SJ 7097 8104.
The closure is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public
posed by the M6 motorway until the missing bridge that carried the
restricted byway across the motorway, is replaced.
The Order came into force on 20th March 2017 and will continue in
force for a period of six months, or until the works are completed,
whichever is the earlier.
