(D17/1 Shiplaw Road) (Temporary Closing) Order 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 28 March 2017 and is expected to remain in effectfor a period of one day between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 each day. The closure is required for patching and carriageway screeding works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D17/1 Shiplaw Road.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the D17/1, A703, A701 and the D17/1 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
