Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under it's relevant powers, have made the B4362 FROM CROFT LANE TO B4361 ORLETON (23214739), BIRCHER, HEREFORDSHIRE, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road :

B4362 FROM CROFT LANE TO B4361 ORLETON

(23214739), BIRCHER, HEREFORDSHIRE OS Grid Ref: from 347639/265667. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via B4361 towards Leominster and onto the A49 and B3461 towards Wofferton and then onto the A49 and visa versa.

The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
