ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

PIT LANE THORNTON BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 664) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable overhead power line works to be executed on or near Pit Lane, Thornton has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Pit Lane, Thornton from its junction with Headley Lane to a point at the entrance to Moor Royd Gate Farm.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

No alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order is available. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Pit Lane (unaffected section), Brighouse and Denholme Road, Cragg Lane, Malt Kiln Lane and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation between the hours of 07:00 to 19:00 hours on 28th March 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 23rd day of March 2017
