ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

MORNINGTON ROAD, BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 670) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Mornington Road, Bingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Mornington Road, Bingley from its junction with Stanley Street for approximately 20 metres in a south easterly direction. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Mornington Road (unaffected section), Ferncliffe Road, Gilstead Lane, Warren Lane, Otley Road, Parkside, Park Road, Charles Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect between the hours of 06:30 to 12:30 on 2nd April 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 23rd day of March 2017
