ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

STATION ROAD MENSTON ILKLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 668) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Station Road, Menston, Ilkley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Station Road from its junction with Cleasby Road for approximately 20 metres in a south easterly direction. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Station Road (unaffected section), Bradford Road, Bingley Road, Main Street, Cleasby Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on 3rd April 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 23rd day of March 2017
