THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PARK ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2017

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section

14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Park

Road, Watford from its junction with Stratford Road south eastwards to its junction with Church

Road ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 308 metres, except for access.

An alternative route will be via Stratford Road and Church Road

The Order is needed because the replacement of existing water mains are proposed to be

executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 March 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

17. that length of Mount View, Rickmansworth from its junction with Field Way north eastwards to its junction with Money Hill Road, a distance of approximately 404 metres.



An alternative route will be via Field Way, West Way and Money Hill Road.

18. the road fronting Nos.32-40 Culverden Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Culverden Road north westwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

An alternative route will be via Ashfield Avenue.

29. that length of Trundlers Way, Bushey Heath from its junction with Windmill Lane north westwards to its junction with Rutherford Way, a distance of approximately 90 metres.



An alternative route will be via Windmill Lane, A4140 High Road, The Rutts and Rutherford Way. NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Church Road, Watford from its junction with Langley Road south eastwards to its junction with Park Road ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 701 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via Langley Road and Park Road

The Order is needed because the replacement of existing water mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Diamond Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south westwards to its junction with Sussex Road, a distance of approximately 190 metres.



An alternative route will be via Leavesden Road, Jubilee Road and Sussex Road.

2. that length of Oakdale Road, South Oxhey from its junction with Northwick Road north westwards to its junction with Oxhey Drive, a distance of approximately 238 metres.



An alternative route will be via Northwick Road, Muirfield Road and Oxhey Drive

3. that length of Chilwell Gardens, South Oxhey from its junction with Muirfield Road north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Northwick Road, a distance of approximately 274 metres.



An alternative route will be via Muirfield Road and Northwick Road.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

1. that length of Gammons Lane, Watford from its junction with Maude Crescent north westwards for its entire length.



An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, A412 St Albans Road, The Harebreaks and St Georges Road.

2. that length of Ridge Street, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards to its junction with Gammons Lane, a distance of approximately 198 metres.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of B462 Aldenham Road, Bushey from its junction with Belmont Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 25 metres ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via B462 (Aldenham Road/Hartspring Lane), A41 North Western Avenue, A4008 Stephenson Way and A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill). The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

1. that length of A411 Beechen Grove, Watford from its junction with the A411 Waterfields Way/ A4008 Stephenson Way roundabout south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 300 metres.



An alternative northbound route will be via: A411 Beechen Grove, Upton Road, A4178 Cassio Road, A412 (Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road), A41 North Western Avenue and A4008 Stephenson Way

An alternative southbound route will be via: A4008 Stephenson Way, A41 North Western Avenue, A412 St Albans Road and A411 Beechen Grove

An alternative northbound route will be via: A411 Beechen Grove, Upton Road, A4178 Cassio Road, A412 (Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road), A41 North Western Avenue and A4008 Stephenson Way.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. that length of Church Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with Norfolk Road south eastwards to its junction with SkidmoreWay, a distance of approximately 135 metres.



An alternative route will be via Church Street, Northway, Station Road, High Street, Wensum Way, A404 Riverside Drive and Church Street.

2. that length of Garratts Road, Bushey from its junction with Kimble Crescent south eastwards to its junction with Richfield Road, a distance of approximately 105 metres.



An alternative route will be via Garratts Road, Coombe Road, Ivinghoe Road, Chiltern Avenue, Little Bushey Lane and Richfield Road.

3. that length of Bournehall Road, Bushey from its junction with Herkomer Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 34 metres.



An alternative route will be via Herkomer Road, Rudolph Road, A411 High Street and Bournehall Road.

The Order is needed because electrical cabling works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
