ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders are:-
BURTONWOOD ROAD) (FOOTWAY CLOSURE) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To Introduce a footway closure on the eastern footway on Burtonwood Road from Its junction with Charon Way to a point approximately 160m north of its junction with Kingswood Road.
The Order will be effective from Tuesday 21st March 2017 for up to 12 months when signed on site. The alternative mute will be via the western footway of Burtonwood Road and temporary controlled crossing facilities. The closure is required to allow for essential works to protect the underground utility services. Ref: HIGH/1725

CLIFF LANE & WEASTE LANE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To introduce a prohibition of driving on:-
Cliff Lane from its northerly junction with Knutsford Road to its junction with Weaste Lane Weaste Lane from its junction with Cliff Lane to its south westerly junction with Cuerdon Drive.
The Order will be effective on Wednesday 29th March 2017 for 3 days when signed on site. The alternative routes are: Cliff Lane via Knutsford Road, Cliff Lane and vice versa Weaste Lane via Weaste Lane, Massey Brook Lane, Camsley Lane, Stockport Road, Knutsford Road, Cliff Lane and vice versa. The closure is required to allow British Telecom to access their underground apparatus. Ref: HIGH/1721
HOBB LANE. APPLETON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To introduce a prohibition of driving on Hobb Lane from its junction with Runcorn Road to its junction with Chester Road.
The Order will be effective on Friday 31 st March 2017 for 1 day when signed on site. The alternative route is via Runcorn Road, Chester Road and vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out tree pruning works. Ref: HIGH/1722
WELL LANE, APPLETON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To introduce a prohibition of driving on Well Lane from its junction with Northwich Road to its junction with Common Lane.
The Order will be effective on Monday 27th March 2017 for 4 weeks when signed on site. The alternative routes are via Northwich Road, Common Lane and vice versa. The closure is required to facilitate the reconstruction of the gable end of a property. Ref: HIGH/1723
MERSEY STREET & BANK STREET (20MPH SPEED LIMIT & PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017
To introduce the following:
i. 20mph Speed Limit on Mersey Street for its entire length
ii. Prohibition of Driving on Bank Street from its junction with Mersey Street to its junction with Moulders Lane.
The Order will be effective on Monday 27th March 2017 for 14 weeks when signed on site. A signed diversion will be provided on site throughout the duration of the works. The closure is required to facilitate highway improvement works associated with Phase 3 of the Time Square Development. Works include the installation of a new signal controlled junction, alterations to the kerbing and associated carriageway and footway resurfacing. DATED 16th March 2017 Ref: HIGH/1724

CONSOLIDATION (AMENDMENT NO. 11) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Sections 1,2,4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers on 13th March 2017. The effect of the Order is as follows:-1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation

Order 2016, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-
a) In the Third Schedule by the addition of:-

Portland Road From its junction with Boston Boulevard, for a distance
(both sides of the of 15 metres, in a north westerly direction, southernmost section)

The Order will be effective from Monday 3rd April 2017.
A copy of the Order and Statement of the Council's Reason for making the Order, together with a plan of the restricted area, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quatt.ro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, during the usual office hours Monday to Friday.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 13th March 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
