LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE
NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT Alan Morgan has applied to Purbeck District Council on 7th March 2017 for the grant of a premises licence to use the premises at Purbeck Valley Farm, Valley Road, Harmans Cross, Dorset, BH20 5HU, for provision of the supply of alcohol and to allow live music and recorded music to be played, and to sell hot food and drink late at night. The application will request business hours as follows 1st June 2017, 12.00hrs-2400hrs. The application is for the licence to run 1st June – 30th June each year, but only be used for a maximum of 2 days within that time in any year. Any person wishing to make representations in respect of this application should do so in writing addressed to the Head of Public Health and Housing, Purbeck District Council, Westport House, Worgret Road, Wareham, BH20 4PP, before 3rd April 2017. All representations will be made known to the applicant. The register of the licensing authority is maintained at Purbeck District Council, Westport House, Wareham, where the application may be inspected Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 4.00pm. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any representation in considering the application that complies with the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003, the Regulations made there under and relates to at least one of the licensing objectives, being the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application for a premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence is £5000.
