Temporary Closure Of Hurst Road, Moreton
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HURST ROAD, MORETON from its junction with the B3390, southwards for approximately 300 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Monday 20 March 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 28 March 2017. The road will be closed between 09.00hrs and 16.00hrs daily, but will be open outside of these times and also over the weekend.
This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out carriageway drainage and resurfacing works. A locally signed diversion route via Moreton will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. The County of Dorset (Greenford View, Maiden Newton) (Disabled Parking Bay) (No. 5) Order 2017 Dorset County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act. When the Order comes into operation on 24 March 2017 the effect will be to introduce a disabled parking bay on the eastern side of Greenford View, Maiden Newton. Exemptions will permit waiting for picking up or setting down passengers, post office vehicles delivering and collecting mail, emergency service vehicles and vehicles in connection with any building or demolition operation, the maintenance of the road, the supply of gas, water or electricity and works to any telegraphic line. This proposal is directly associated with ‘The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District ofWest Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders made for the Regulation of Traffific) Order 2014’ in that it is an amendment to that Order.

Temporary Closure of Hidden Bridge, Rampisham DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HIDDEN BRIDGE, RAMPISHAM from Linnet Lane Junction Uphall To Rampisham Cross a distance of approximately 40 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 3rd April 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12th May 2017. But it will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary. This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out the replacement of stone arched culvert with new twin wall plastic pipes followed by resurfacing. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. Temporary Closure of Great Western Cross Junction, Dorchester DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along GREAT WESTERN CROSS JUNCTION, DORCHESTER from Cornwall Road/Damers Road/Great Western Road and Maumbury Road. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 10th April 2017 until 14 April 2017 between 1900 and 0700 and 18 April 2017 until 22 April 2017 between 1900 and 0700 and will remain in force for 18 months However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22 April 2017. The road will be open outside of these times and also over the weekend. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above. The closure is also weather dependant. But it will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary. This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out resurfacing works to complete the junction upgrade. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed within the timeframes above. The closures will be between 09:00hrs and 16:00hrs daily, with the road reopened outside of these times, and at weekends. This order will enable Dorset County Council safe access to carry out carriageway resurfacing and maintenance work. A locally signed diversion route will be signposted on site (where possible).
