Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1091 Venmore Lane, Dilwyn Temporary Closure Order 2017 to

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the U93215 Fields Place Lane to the junction with U93229 Castle Mount OS Grid Ref: 341682 / 254480. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4112 onto the B4457 onto the A4110 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th April 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
