Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under it's relevant powers, have made the B4230 Back Lane, Weobley, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road : B4230 Back Lane from the junction with High Street to the junction with Bell Square OS Grid Ref: 340135/251622. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via High Street onto Broad Street onto Bell Square and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to excavation for cable overlays and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 3rd April 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
