Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend , under its relevant powers, to make the Resurfacing Works (April), Herefordshire Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles the on the following roads :

a) A4137, Glewstone, from the junction with Hendre Lane for 800 metres north. On 10th April for 4 days approximately



b) B4203, Tedstone Wafre, from South Batch Farm to the junction with the U95206. On 18th April for 3 days approximately



c) A44, Steensbridge, from Springfield House to 120 metres west of the junction with the C1059. On 10th April for 4 days approximately



d) A449 Ross Road, Ledbury, from Longhope to the River Leadon. From 18th April for 4 days approximately



e) A44, Leominster, from Eaton Bridge for 40 metres west. On 20th April for 1 day approximately.



The said closures are required due to resurfacing works being carried out and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closures will come into force on The above said dates and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the expected duration of works for each location are noted above.
