Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1238 Blackpits, Garway Hill, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1238 by Blackpits. OS Grid Ref: from 344504/225498.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1238 onto the C1236 then onto the U71415 and from C1238 onto U71415 and then onto the C1236 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to kerbing, drainage, haunching and resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.

The said closure will come into force on 27th March 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
