Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U91213 Mill Street, Kington, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U91213 Mill Street from the junction with the C1072 High Street, to the junction with the U91221 Crabtree Road OS Grid Ref: 329572 / 256578. There is no alternate route for those affected by this proposal.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th April 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
